About Elizah Manda

 Hello, my name is Elizah Sesi Manda, and I am a second-generation pastor. I graduated with a Bachelor of Ministry and Theology from Pacific Adventist University and have served as a church pastor with the Western Highlands Mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

In 2023, I answered God’s call to become a volunteer missionary through Adventist Volunteer Service, serving with the Adventist World Radio – Center for Digital Evangelism. Those 18 months of mission service were truly life-changing, shaping my vision for ministry and deepening my passion for sharing the gospel. My experiences with fellow missionaries from the South Pacific Division were even recorded in the Adventist Record as we shared stories of how God led us in the mission field.

 My family’s story is deeply rooted in the Adventist movement. My father, Pr. Manda and his brother, Pr. Rex was a pioneer of the Adventist faith in our village of Semberigi-Polopa. This region stretches across the rugged jungles of the Kagua Erave District, where in the 1980s and 90s, the message of hope spread from village to village, often requiring long, difficult journeys on foot. Through God’s leading, they not only established churches in their home area but also planted new congregations in the Southern Highlands and Hela Province. Their faithfulness laid the foundation that I now walk upon.

 Today, with training and experience from Adventist World Radio, I am passionate about using digital media for evangelism. Through blogs, podcasts, music, online Bible studies, and prayer, I share the everlasting gospel with people searching for truth. My field experience as a pastor helps me connect with real people facing real struggles—reminding me daily that the greatest need of every heart is Jesus Christ.

As my father and uncle once walked village to village planting churches, I now walk the digital pathways of the world—empowered by God—to plant churches from one click to another.
